Welcome to the "Group 9 May".
Our Group conducts search missions on the territory of Western Europe and the former Soviet Union to integrate the monuments to Soviet soldiers and military graves from the Second World War of 1939-1945. As the fates decree, millions of our countrymen for ever lie in lands far from their homeland. Our goal: Keep this in mind, to know and impart our knowledge.
Our group does not exist for a long time, but nevertheless we have made significant progress in our work. We suggest you look at our photo report on the work done.
During its lifetime, we visited UK, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Russia, Slovakia, where we took part in the celebration of Victory Day and conducted a search operation.
Our photo albums dedicated to not only the monuments of the war, but interesting events, activities, historical places associated with the Second World War and the role of the Soviet people. We are confident that you will be interested to know about: Imperial War Museum in London and Duxford, the cruiser Belfast, moored on the River Thames, military museums in Kiev, Cherkassy, Korsun-Shevchenko (Ukraine), Moscow, Yekaterinburg (Russia), Banska Bystrica, Svidnik (Slovakia), Dukla, Zamosch, Volfshantse (Poland).
The action, entitled "Our steel fist - tank T34" represents photocatalogue T-34/76 and T-34/85 tanks, located in all corners of the world in the form of monuments, as well as in private collections.
In the section "Monuments of The War”, we would like to introduce you to the monuments to Soviet soldiers, established in all corners of the world where they honor and remember the heroism of the Russian soldier.
We would like to invite you to take part in this work. We will be glad of any information from you and will gladly share all that we have already accumulated (documents, photos, stories ).
We speak Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, English, Lithuanian, Slovak ... In the general case - the language does not hinder! Our group is multinational, we live in different parts of the world, but we are united by one thing - respect for the heroism and sacrifice of soldiers who gave their lives for us!
